5280 Produce was established in 2013 and has experienced significant growth over the years. From the beginning we have built relationships with both vendors and customers and we consistently strive to deliver the best produce in Denver.
We are a local, small business that supplies produce to restaurants, grocery stores and families in the greater Denver area.

Michael Martelli, Jr.
Founder & Owner
Michael Martelli, Jr. has worked in produce all of his life. Michael’s father, Michael Martelli, Sr., owned and operated Federal Fruit & Produce until it closed in 2013 and Michael worked under him from his teenage years into adulthood. You probably ran into Michael and his crews on weekends at the Mile High Flea Market in the 1990s and early 2000s.
In 2013, Michael and his life long friend, Brad Jester, opened 5280 Produce, operating out of the old Federal Fruit & Produce warehouse.

Founder & Owner
Brad Jester is a native of Arvada, Colorado and was a real estate broker from 1999-2014. In 2006, Brad made a career change and started working full time for Federal Fruit & Produce. Brad gained experience and knowledge with buying and selling produce during this time.
In 2013, Brad partnered with his childhood friend Michael Martelli Jr. and they opened 5280 Produce.
Megan Ficco
Business Manager & Accountant
Meg Ficco is an Arvada native with a BAS from the University of Colorado. Meg has been on the 5280 Produce team from the beginning.
Meg started the weekly assortment box program in her garage and it has become a huge success over the past few years.
